Nixe Limited

Nixe is an international IT services company based in Argentina and the United Kingdom. They required the project management and development of a global web presence which would explain the skills and services that Nixe offers in both Latin America and Europe. They required a web site in both Spanish and English that would run easily on the platform of the majority of their customers - in this case, Unix and Linux. UOS provided both the project management expertise and development skills for building this site. This included determining the site requirements, leading the development team, managing the outsourcing of the testing and arranging hosting in both Latin America and Europe. UOS provided the complete project solution and have continued to support Nixe with a flexible maintenance contract. Nixe have reported a significant increase in enquiries about their services since the site went live. In response to the work we have done for Nixe, they have made UOS one of their business partners to be used for outsourced web development projects.

Credit Suisse First Boston

UOS has undertaken a number of projects for Credit Suisse First Boston. The two most recent projects have been: the management of the branding and deployment of a global intranet site for CSFB Financial Control; and the management of a project to define and deliver a Project Control function, also for CSFB Financial Control.

Both projects were undertaken in London and completed on time and to budget using the specialist project mangement skills within UOS

Lehman Brothers

Lehman Brothers required project management skills to support their European Y2K programme. UOS were utilised to manage and control the integration and industry-wide testing of Lehman Brothers systems with the wider banking and exchange community. This included managing the industry-wide testing with SWIFT, Euroclear, CGO and Crest and exchange testing with Stockholm Stock Exchange, Deutsche Borse and Eurex.

Gartmore Investment Management

Gartmore required the deployment of a project office in their IT function. One of the key specialisms in UOS is an understanding of the requirement for project control. UOS have five years experience in delivering and defining project control functions for a number of organisations. Gartmore recognised this need and used the skills in UOS to deliver the Project Office.
